CAT NAP

This project was for a Visual Communication class I took in high school. This project called for me to think of a company along with its name and corporate identity. I had to design a logo, business card, letterhead and envelope. I used Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign for this project.

Theme Illustration

I was asked to create the illustration for the theme for the Our Lady of Lourdes Academy 2008-2009 school year. I created a main illustration for the school year and also created individual illustrations for each grade. I used Adobe Illustrator to create all of the illustrations.

Dancing Diva Productions, Inc.

I was approached by my dance instructor of many years to create the logo, flyer, and business card for her new business Dancing Diva Productions, Inc. She gave me an idea of what she wanted by giving me an illustration drawn by hand. I then scanned and re-created the illustration by using Adobe Illustrator. The illustration shows a sneaker, pointe shoe, crown, and more that tell about the service they would be providing. They offer their services for parties to teach either ballet, jazz, or hip-hop. I used different tools within Illustrator to create the look she was looking for and chose the colors for CMYK printing.

Onomatopoeia

This image was created in Adobe Illustrator for a Visual Communication class I took in high school. The direction of this image was to make it seem as if each letter was zipped. I used the rectangle and pen tool to draw the individual boxes. The rounded rectangle tool was also used to create the slider. YKK was written inside of the slider by using the type tool because most zippers are made by the same company, Yoshida Kōgyō Kabushiki-gaisha.
